T'ai Chi Ch'uan is a Chinese martial art that uses slow, fluid body movements to enhance wellness, longevity and internal peace. During this eight-week course, Kurt Von Quintus will teach some of the movements of the Wu-style form. Students will learn simple steps and then build on them to perform more complex movements. This is a two-part class is open to those who are currently in treatment and recently off treatment. Award winning, professional ceramic artist and cancer survivor Susan Fox-Hishman, will assist as students create fun pieces in wet clay in the first session, and then return to paint colorful glazes on their work in the second session. T'ai Chi Ch'uan is a Chinese martial art that uses slow, fluid body movements to enhance wellness, longevity and internal peace. During this eight-week course, Kurt Von Quintus will teach some of the movements of the Wu-style form. Students will learn simple steps and then build on them to perform more complex movements.
