A Glimpse of Marvelous Mah Jongg With Marion:  "Mah Jongg is well known as a staple in American life – up there with coke cola, apple pie and ice cream. A favorite among Catskill resort habitués and played incessantly by Eastern European immigrant women in the 1930’s, Mah Jongg is enjoying a resurgence through Mah Jongg social groups in many local Northern Virginia communities. In addition to being fun and social, playing the game provides a mental and physical rest from all of life's other concerns. Those who play call it the “the game of a hundred intelligences,” and “the gift of heaven.” Come to begin to learn and claim a piece of heaven for yourself, with 4 introductory sessions with LWC Volunteer Marion Jacknow.
